Denis Malbec, former winemaker at legendary Chateau Latour in Bordeaux, discusses the light, air and soils that create the beautiful terroir of Pine Mountain-Cloverdale Peak Appellation, and his objectives as vigneron for Tin Cross Vineyards. Denis was an early believer in the unique potential of the mountain, and is now receiving early accolades for his Captûre Wines, crafted from the historic Tin Cross estate.

Pine Mountain Vineyards lies at the center of the new Pine Mountain-Cloverdale Peak AVA, with rocky soils, steep slopes and sun-drenched southwestern hillsides of the Mayacamas range. Famed viticulturalist Ulises Valdez discusses his passion for farming Cabernet Sauvignon at Pine Mountain Vineyards, situated at 2400ft elevation.

Winemaker Miro Tcholakov of MIRO Cellars discusses why he loves crafting wines from high elevation Cabernet Sauvignon grown at Silverwood Ranch, located in the new Pine Mountain-Cloverdale Peak AVA.
